With the support of Cardiff County Council, Star Sword Club now offers a weekly session for 6 to 10 year olds. These sessions use foam & plastic equipment to teach children the basic strokes and principles of the modern Olympic sport of Fencing, in a fun and safe environment. The sport promotes confidence, co-ordination, balance, fitness and discipline.

 

 

TASTER SESSIONS

Star Sword Club offers FREE taster sessions to youth community groups in the Cardiff area. These sessions are tailored to the age and make-up of the group and offer participants the oppertunity to try-out the exciting modern sport of sword fencing!

Price: £15.00

The course fee includes 6 weeks tuition and equipment hire.

CONTINUED LESSONS:

Once a child has completed the Beginners' Course they're welcome to continue training with us. In these session's they'll be taught more advanced strokes and may be progressed onto plastic and eventually metal weapons. The sessions will continue to promote discipline, control, co-ordination and respect in pupils, whilst providing a fun and safe environment.
