    MF & WE - sign in closes at 09:30
    WS - sign in closes at 12:30

    ME & WF - sign in closes at 09:30
    MS - sign in closes at 12:30
• Rules: British Fencing rules will be applied throughout the event, except where, at the discretion of the organising committee, changes are necessary to ensure the smooth running of the competition.
• Refreshments: Refreshments will be available throughout the day.

 

HOW TO ENTER?

There are two ways to enter the Oxfam Open:

1) STANDARD ENTRY FEE (£15.00 / £22.00):

By Post: Download and complete an entry form from here. Send your application with your entry fee to: Oxfam Open Entry, 9 Sanquhar Street, Cardiff CF24 2AA. Cheques made payable to 'Star Sword Club'.

2) SPONSORED ENTRY

Rather than paying the standard entry fee why not get sponsored to fence?! Through sponsorship you can raise money for Oxfam and take part in a superb event! Download a sposorship form here, send it with a completed entry form and your sponsorship money (minimum £15/£22) to: Oxfam Open Entry, 9 Sanquhar Street, Cardiff, CF24 2AA. Cheques made payable to 'Star Sword Club'. Alternatively, bring the form and sponsorship money on the day (minimum £20/27).

There will be a prize awarded to the individual who raises the most sponsorship.

 

Entries must be recieved by the 15th June 2008. Any late entries incur an additional £5.00 charge.

If you're having difficulty finding, or affording accomodation, please feel free to contact us and we can connect you to fencers in the local area who may have a spare room or sofa available.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Heat and Dehydration - When engaging in a sporting activity in the summer there is a danger of heat exhaustion and dehydration. We ask all competitors to follow the advice here to avoid any risk.

Security - We do ask you to try and avoid leaving personal belongings unattended and that you report any suspicious behaviour to the DT immediately.

Litter - In keeping with Oxfam's green policies, recycling bins will be made available in the competition area. Please use these and make sure you do not inadvertantly litter the venue. Thank you.
